My name is Ohaji Princewill “I see myself as the next big thing’

Princewill is an advocate of peace, SDGs Ambassador and a passionate youth who is driven towards positive change and influence on society. In advocating for peace, he influences his society in his day-to-day activities and creating awareness on the importance of peaceful co-existence. He is one of the positive minded youths that anticipates the light at the end of the tunnel on the situation of Africa, affirming that change can only be possible by creating innovations for empowerment and development as well as being more solution oriented.

His outstanding personality, finesse, human relations skill, love for tourism and decency has bagged him awards. He strongly believes that, faith, emotional intelligence, integrity, willpower, and human relations skills are major attributes of success.

He is currently studying International Law and Diplomacy in Babcock University. He has attended various conferences on self-discipline; self-mastery; diplomacy; communication; youth empowerment; positive impact etc.

Moreover, he is a Model UNer, having attended the International Model United Nations, Nigeria and Ghana International Model United Nations representing Spain and Germany respectively, Princewill has continued to improve his public speaking skills which he lacks.

He’s part of the Yali Network (Young African Leaders Initiative) by U.S President Barrack Obama, behind the scenes Princewill has studied few online courses, such as; Fundamentals of Business Expansion, Management Strategies for People and Resources, Strategies for Personal Growth and Development, Community Organization for Action, Fundamentals of Starting and Running a Business, Focus on: Understanding Climate Change etc.

He is equipped with diplomatic and organizational skills, a guru in human relations, and working towards improving his public speaking. He has an A2 certification in French Language.

He believes in creating something out of nothing and going against all odds in achieving one’s goal. His ultimate goal in life is to make positive impact and to be successful. He’s putting all intelligence on ground to be a successful serial Entrepreneur in years to come.
Due to his hard work, he’s currently the Welfare Director of the International Law and Diplomacy Students Association(BU Chapter) and also the Nigerian representative of Innovation for Empowerment and Development (IFED).

Eugene Ackom – Damtey is a young Ghanaian who is very passionate about leadership, diplomacy and social development although havingMarketing, Public relations, IT and SAP Payroll Administration backgrounds. A graduate from the University of Professional Studies Accra, (UPSA) with BSc Marketing, SAP HCM & HR-Payroll from Cortex Technologies Ghana as well as BS-IT (Master-Mind Series) from NIIT and currently reading CIM-UK.
Growing up as a young leader and Youth Activist, I have served the course of Ghanaian students’ and the youth at large through the National Union of Ghana Students 2013 (National Education Secretary), UPSA SRC-2012(Vice Chair-Council of Course Representatives), Youth Manifesto-Ghana 2012 (Peer Review member), Voices of Youth Coalition (Founding member), Youth Empowerment Synergy-Ghana (PAC member), United Nations Youth Association-Ghana (National Organiser) amongst several others.
As part of reaching my passion for diplomacy and social developmental goals, I joined Ghana International Model United Nations – GIMUN in 2011 and have since been through several skills training as well as being exposed to the United Nations systems at large. Following the GIMUN 2016 conference I was appointed to serve as the President of the General Assembly (PGA) after successfully executing my duties as the Vice President, General Assembly (VPGA) GIMUN 15.
With great pleasure and the desire of sharing my MUN experience with IYDC-Accra, I wish to work with all and sundry for a successful and memorable MUN experience.

Hi there! I am Andy!
Andy Boakye Adasi had his Junior High School education at the Pentecost Preparatory and Junior High School, Koforidua. He subsequently attended Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary also in Koforidua. After completion, he proceeded to the University of Ghana for Bachelors Degree in History and Linguistics. Andy is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy at the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD).
He had his first Model United Nations experience as delegate, representing Angola, then Belgium thereafter. In the year 2014, he was appointed the Vice President of the General Assembly (Asian Bloc). In the next, was appointed the President of the Security Council and as the Director of International Relations at the Ghana International Model United Nations.
He will be the Chairman of the Legal Committee at the IFED Youth Diplomacy Conference (IYDC), Accra. He is a firm believer that this conference will deepen and expand his horizon and further shape him as a Global Actor. He also believes that, participating in Model United Nations on any level and in any country can afford delegates not only an opportunity to practice public speaking, sharpen their debating and negotiation skills, train them in improving their style of writing and introduce them to the world of diplomacy, but can also boost confidence and establish networks around the world.
Andy sees himself as a global thinker and a service oriented professional who offers a unique combination of creativity and analytical skills with the ability to access both vantage points to help build and cause the change the world envisage.
Andy enjoys reading, traveling and making friends. He believes Model United Nations are a good platform to realize the future leaders of Ghana and Africa at large. He looks forward to working with all other delegates and officials to have the best MUN experience in August 2016.




A student of the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science, University of Ibadan who wrote his final exams in December 2015 and also IFED campus chapter president at University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
He is a peace advocate who is also passionate about social justice and community development.
Remember, effective youth participation is about creating opportunities for young people to be involved in influencing, shaping, designing and contributing to policy and the development of the society. Making the world a better place is a collective activity.

Samuel Amofa Asante is a young Ghanaian who is currently working as a Research Assistant at Parliament of Ghana.

He read a combined Major in Political Science and Information Studies at the University of Ghana. For the past five years, he has amass great experience in project management and organizational management. He has professional training certificates in Project Management (PMI), Strategic Management, and Human Resource Management.

He has a strong passion for International Relations and Humanitarian works and as such has worked with United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) – Accra, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration of Ghana. Also, he has worked as a Manager of an NGO for two years. Samuel has six years of practical experience in various voluntary services.

He has been a MUNer for five years now. His MUN participation ranges from Ghana International Model United Nations (GIMUN) conferences, Life-link Model United Nation Conference, Model ECOWAS Summit to Model AU Summit. He is renowned for winning Best Position Paper in almost all the conferences he attends.
Samuel played the role of PGA for the maiden edition of IYDC – Accra in 2015.

He believes that we can do all things if only we put our minds and strength to work it out into reality.
